How does the product work?
TopOur decapsulator is designed to accurately and efficiently dissolve encapsulant materials to reveal the silicon die and bond wires in any IC package. Using an automated system, the process can be completed in minutes without causing any damage to the silicon and metal structures. This gives the researcher the ability to run the chip through failure analysis testing procedures.
How large is the product?
TopThe decapsulator easily fits in any standard fume hood and is light enough for the operator to position by hand. An acid bottle holding box sits adjacent to the etcher system for ease of access and replacement.

TopMost customers request a day for installation and a hands on training session with our technician. The machine is delivered fully operational and a checklist is included to complete the process of setup.
